Detailed here are the release notes outlining all enhancements, feature additions, and updates that have been made to the SafetyStratus platform. Please note that new site settings and feature enhancement availability depends on your module license. Clients can contact our Customer Success to determine applicability and turn on new features.
Updates and Feature Enhancements
Inspections & Observations
We have introduced a new scheduled file to alert inspectors of any comments added to corrective actions within the past 7 days.
When editing a template in the Edit Inspection section, we have included a "Save and Continue" button to allow users to stay on the page instead of closing the form.
Incident Management
We have introduced a new setting for LQ Admins, that grants you control over the visibility of the "Create New Incident" buttons for each incident type based on the user tags.
We have introduced a new feature that automatically assigns sub-forms to users when the incident is being saved.
Chemical Inventory & SDS
We have enhanced the transfer requests table to have all types of requests, including Approved, Rejected, and Requested ones.
We are restricting the users to create a new inventory item without selecting owner.
We have provided a LQ settings on the UI where the list of physical states can be chosen depending upon the client's requirement.
Bulletins
We have implemented the functionality to allow editing or deleting bulletins. Users now have the option to modify or remove bulletins as needed.
Forms
In Forms, we've expanded the auto-fill text field feature to include additional tables such as location, facility, room, department, and organization.
We have added a preview button at the top of the form, allowing the form builder to review changes, including the new format, before saving progress.
Radiation Safety
We have implemented a significant update to the RAD that involves the display of current activity in mass units for Uranium/Plutonium isotopes. This change applies to various sections, including the inventory, order, waste tabs, and more. Additionally, if a quantity is specified in kilograms/grams, the corresponding activity will be calculated, or vice versa.
We have implemented the capability to fix precision value for activity decimals according to the specified value based on the site setting.
Previously, a PI could order isotopes beyond the specified limit. We've now restricted this by disabling the submit button on the order form if the limit is exceeded.
Data Manager
We have enhanced the functionality of Room tags, User tags, and Group tags to support both searching and multi-selection. This improvement enables users to easily search for specific tags and select multiple tags simultaneously.
