SafetyStratus Release Notes - Chemical Inventory User Interface Update
Introducing a Cleaner, More Intuitive Chemical Inventory Experience
SafetyStratus is debuting an updated user interface (UI) that gives admins and end-users a cleaner and more intuitive experience with the core functionality they have grown to expect.
New Additions
Copy Existing Inventory - This feature streamlines the addition of new containers of chemicals common to the inventory. Users can copy the desired chemical and make any needed adjustments to their new container(s).
Search Global Catalog - Mapping important chemical hazard data using the SafetyStratus Global Catalog has never been easier. Simply search the catalog for your item, select the item, and your container will be linked to important hazard and reporting data instantly.
Key Differences
Updated User Interface - The new design reduces visual clutter and allows a user to easily customize their view in the main inventory window.
Concise Inventory and Radioactive Materials Management - All relevant chemical inventory management functionality is now combined and at the finger tips of end users. This also separates out Radiation Management into its own management tab to properly delineate the functionality.
Filter Side Bar - The advanced filters have moved to a side bar, where they can be accessed and cleanly stacked to search inventories. Users can set a Favorite Query as their default filters, which will appear on their main inventory window. This allows a user to customize their view based on their common search preferences.
Add New Chemical Update - We streamlined the "Search and Add" functionality when adding a new chemical to an inventory. Along with a more concise selection process, the inventory detail page more clearly separates Mandatory and Optional fields for better usability. It also utilizes auto-populating fields to help reduce the burden of repetitive entry.
Enhanced Entry of Products or Mixtures - We eased the "CAS" requirement for new catalog submissions, which simplifies product and mixture entry.
While the look has changed, the core functionality you rely on remains intact. Your data, processes, and workflows are still hereājust easier to use.
Please note that the availability of the Chemical Inventory module and any new feature availability depends on your module license and current site settings. Clients can contact our Customer Success and Support divisions to determine applicability and turn on new features.
